GENESIS & GERMINA

My name is Beatriz Gonzalez-Cotera, I am an artist and designer from Madrid, Spain currently based in New York. My work explores the ideas of futurism, materiality and the sublime through an interdisciplinary approach blending textiles, metal and found materials, among others. In a way, my work feels like a subjective execution of ideas. I attempt to become a vessel for- ideas which I then try to convey in the work for the viewer to experience.
